Sunrise, which broadcasts on e.tv each morning, together with The Sunflower Fund and South African National Blood Services (SANBS) have collaborated and formed the "Sunrise Spare a Thought, Save  a Life Campaign" which launched on the 1st June 2011. This incredibly important initiative, launched by Sunrise, has assisted The Sunflower Fund and SANBS by placing the issue of “becoming a bone marrow stem cell donor” and a “blood donor” in the forefront of the S.A. public’s minds.
